Smart Energy Summit

The Smart Energy Summit aims to engage the consumer with energy providers keeping in mid the future of a green energy grid. The summit features leaders from utilities, state and national regulators, telecom and security companies, retailers, and OEMs. There are two more sessions of this summit this year: August 4th and October 27th.

Wednesday, August 4th
This day’s summit is titled “Next Stages of the EV Evolution”. As the market continues to grow and mature, utilities have embarked on major campaigns to further incentivize EV sales. This session addresses the market’s challenges in 2021 as well as the role of energy storage in helping to manage the grid.

Wednesday, October 27th
October 27th includes two session” titled “Partnerships and Tech Advancements” and “Shifting Consumer Behavior: Energy Efficiency and Demand Response”. The former session addresses the disruption and impact of smart home solutions like AI and 5G on the utility markets and specifically their impacts on the energy consumer.

The latter session is aimed toward strategies to drive adoption of renewable and connected energy solutions that will drive uptake and usage.
