Microsoft Pledges to be Carbon Negative by 2030

Microsoft just pledged to be carbon negative by 2030, stating that they will use their recent clean energy purchases to power all of their global operations within the next decade. Currently, these energy purchases have not been connected to the same electricity grids that the company actually uses, so they are determined to change this. Microsoft is now one of the largest corporate buyers of renewable energy in the world and leads the way to hopefully inspire other companies to do the same.
