The Solar, Storage, and Smart Energy Expo, the first major Solar Power Events series expo of 2020, will bring industry professionals together from January 16th-17th in San Francisco, California.

With workshops, exhibit hall educations sessions, and more, the expo will host approximately 600 companies, including industry innovators such as Sunrun, Tesla, and Panasonic.

The expo allows attendees to learn from experts in various industries, to network, and to stay informed of recent market and policy changes, such as implementation of California’s environmental goals and legislation.

Beginning in 2020, all new homes in California will be required to have solar panels, and the state recently set its sights on being 100% renewably-powered by the year 2045.

The expo will run from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on the 16th, and from 7:30 a.m. to 3:40 p.m. on the 17th. Attendees can look forward to industry expert speakers, including Karim Farhat, Clean Transportation Expert Analyst at Pacific Gas & Electric Company (PG&E), Melicia Charles, Director of Public Policy at Sunrun, and Andrew Schwartz, Senior Policy Advisor at Tesla.

A more detailed schedule, featuring a full list of speakers, breakdowns of topics covered at the event, and time given over to each topic can be found here.

This Solar Power Events expo was organized through the efforts of the Smart Electric Power Alliance (SEPA) and the Solar Energy Industries Association (SEIA), and was sponsored by the Shoals Technologies Group.
