Sustainable Ocean Summit Announces Draft Program and Speakers

A draft program and speakers have been announced for the ninth global Sustainable Ocean Summit (SOS) taking place this November in Paris, themed “Investing in Ocean Futures: Finance and Innovation for the Blue Economy.”

The World Ocean Council (WOC) will host the SOS from November 20-22, continuing to bring together members of the ocean business community, as well as members of the government, scientists, and environmentalists. More speakers and programs will be announced soon, according to the WOC newsletter.

Participants in the Blue Economy will be able to attend programs focusing on a wide range of topics regarding their various roles in this economy, including the role of institutional investors, sustainable finance principles, the maritime legal community, and more.
