The 2019 Waste Expo Showcased a Variety of Sustainable Companies and Thought Leaders

The 2019 Waste Expo recently concluded in Las Vegas, bringing together professionals from various industries showcasing goals and strategies to combat waste. The Expo is put on by Waste360, a company providing education and information to different industries about sustainability. The Waste Expo is their flagship event, happening each year in different cities for the last 50 years. The 2019 Expo had 584 exhibitors ranging from compost to motor oil companies.

Highlighted market leaders for the event included AMCS (A technology company for waste management companies) and BYD (a global transportation company specializing in sustainability). The event also included a wide variety of speakers. Anne Germain is the director of Waste and Recycling Technology at the NWRA. Darby Hoover is the Senior Resource Specialist at the NRDC.
